These treasure pieces are reproductions of
treasure recovered from the Atocha wreck site, and hand crafted from silver bars
also recovered from the Atocha and then layered in 14k gold. They retain the unique shape and markings
characteristic of the minting process, and because the 377 year
old silver was refined to the highest standards of the day, have a silver content much
higher than the "sterling" standard used today. Your piece of
treasure will arrive in a velvet pouch and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
